 Twilight on the Tallgrass Saturday, September 13 This prairie festival is held every September as the prairie grasses mature and the fall wildflowers come into full bloom. During the festival, two prairie discovery trails are open for people to walk along and interact with authors, biologists, photographers, writers, artists, and other professionals who gain insight and energy from the prairie. Music, live animal demonstrations, performances, and tours are all part of the day's activities. Bring the whole family and celebrate the beauty and diversity of the tallgrass prairie.
